Frequently Asked Question

Base oil is derived from crude oil and refined to use in motor oil formulations. Depending on the amount of refining done to the base oil determines the properties and characteristics of the base oil. The refining process removes many impurities in the base oil such as waxy materials and sulfur.  The amount of waxy materials, sulfur and viscosity behavior of the oil at lower and higher temperatures determines the quality or group of the base oil.

Think of engine oil as your car’s superhero serum. Choose the right one, and it guards against wear, tear, and even engine kryptonite like overheating and sludge. Smoothness, power, and fuel efficiency soar, all for less than a villainous tank of fuel. Pick wisely, keep your engine purring!

Engine oil isn’t just lubricant, it’s a multi-talented guardian for your car’s heart. It fights friction, cools hot spots, cleans away dirt, guards against rust, and keeps seals leak-proof. Change it regularly, and your engine will purr with gratitude!

You should change your oil and filter at or before the end of oil-change intervals indicated by your vehicle manufacturer. These are based on distance travelled or time. Regular oil changing helps to keep your engine oil in good condition and provide the best protection for all of your engine components.

Used oil can pollute the environment and should never be poured down the drain. In many markets it is also illegal to do this. Instead, take your waste to an official oil-disposal or recycling bank (these are often located at local refuse collection points). Alternatively, ask your local authority recycling officer for guidance.
